Well marked and fun trail. Could have used snowshoes for gripping in some of the declines. Beautiful views on a clear day

Icy in spots, but overall a terrific hike! The views of the Presidentials were beautiful as were the ice falls along rock castle loop. Very quiet at the top, except for the singing chickadees. I will repeat this one next fall.

Nice views at several points. The trail was steeper than I had thought it would be, but it was a nice, slow hike for "slow but steady" me! We took the loop in counter clockwise direction which I am glad for as the loop on the downside back was pretty steep - glad I had my trekking poles. I'll do this again.

The trail is well marked with wood squares and red arrows in addition to the cairns that are mentioned on the Trail Finder description. It is very steep in places.
